Matt Burkhead

Matt is the founder of Total Quality Media and is TQM’s primary project manager. Matt is best known for his work in collegiate media development as the creator of GoNoke.org, one of the most viewed independent collegiate athletics websites in the country. He is also known for his role as the Producer and DP for the short film, “The Rebuilding Year.”

Prior to founding TQM in 2011, Matt worked as an admissions and enrollment professional, developing new uses of technology in his office to enrich the college decision process for perspective students and families. Matt speaks at college workshops and is involved in consulting opportunities in business and higher education, combining his shared experiences in higher education and Web 2.0 mediums such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, WordPress and other social media platforms.

As a native of Winston-Salem, Matt traveled just north to complete his Bachelors in Chemistry at Roanoke College, and is currently completing his Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from Kent State University.
